“You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. For in just a very little while, ‘He who is coming will come and will not delay’” (Hebrews 10:36–37 NIV).
"Você precisa perseverar para que quando fizer a vontade de Deus, receba o que ele tem prometido. Pois em pouco tempo, Ele quem está por vir, virá e virá sem demora!" (Hebreus 10:36-37 NVI).

If you’re discouraged because of God’s delay in answering your prayers, understand the delay is not a denial. Just because the answer or the miracle hasn’t come—yet—that doesn’t mean God isn’t going to answer, or that he’s forgotten you, or that he doesn’t care about you. It simply means “not yet!”
Se você está desanimado por que Deus está demorando para responder suas orações, entenda que a demora não é uma negação. Não é por que a resposta ou o milagre não vieram - ainda - que Deus não irá responder, ou que ele tenha te esquecido, ou que ele não se importe. Simplesmente não é o momento "ainda!"

Spiritual maturity is knowing the difference between “No” and “Not yet,” between a denial and a delay. The Bible tells us, “He who is coming will come and will not delay” (Hebrews 10:37 NIV).
Maturidade espiritual é saber a diferença entre "não" e "não ainda", entre uma negação e uma demora. A Biblia nos diz: "Ele quem está por vir, virá e virá sem demora!" (Hebreus 10:36-37 NVI).

The delay may be a test of your patience. Anybody can be patient once. And, anybody can be patient twice. And, just about anybody can be patient three times. So God tests you patience over and over and over.
A demora pode ser um teste para sua paciência. Qualquer pessoa pode ser paciente uma vez. E, qualquer um pode ser paciente duas vezes. E, quase ninguém é paciente três vezes. Então deus está testando sua paciencia uma e outra e outra vez.

Why? To see how patient you are?
Por que? Para ver quão paciente você é?

No, he does it to show you how patient you are. So you’ll know what’s inside of you, and you’ll be able to know your level of commitment. God tests you so that you can know he is faithful, even if the answers you seek are delayed.
Não, Ele faz isto para te mostrar quão paciente você é. Então você saberá o que está dentro de você, e vai ser capaz de saber seu nível de comprometimento. Deus te testa para que você saiba que Ele é fiel, ainda que as respostas demorem.

If you’re discouraged, turn it around by remembering God teaches you patience during delay. Ask him to transform your discouragement into patience.
Se você está desanimado, lembre-se que Deus está te ensinando a ser paciente durante a espera. Peça a Ele para transformar seu desânimo em paciência.

You may be going through difficult times right now and feel like dropping off the planet. You’re discouraged because the situation you face seems unmanageable, unreasonable, or unfair.
Você pode estar passando por momentos difíceis e sentir como se o mundo estivesse de ponta cabeça. Você está desanimado por que a situação parece incontrolável, inadequada, ou injusta.

It may seem unbearable and inside you’re basically saying, “God, I can’t take it anymore. I just can’t take it anymore!”
Pode parecer intolerável, e por dentro você está dizendo, "Deus, não aguento mais, simplesmente não aguento mais!"

But you can.
Mas você pode!

You can stay with it longer because God is with you. He’ll enable you to press on. Remember, you are never a failure until you quit.
Você pode aguentar mais por que Deus está com você. Ele vai te capacitar para continuar. Lembre-se, você nunca será um derrotado até que você desista.

Don’t quit. Resist discouragement and finish the race God has set before you.
Não desista. Resista ao desencorajaamento e termine a corrida que Deus estabeleceu para você!
